I do not want to include when I visit my website in the traffic statistics. How do I do this?

Hi Eddy,

We have two options available to do this in Degaa. The first option involves excluding your IP address from any logging. Although this option works well for people with fixed ip addresses most ADSL users will find their IP address changes on a daily basis so those users would need to change the IP address in the settings tab every day or so.

The second option involves setting a cookie on your website for your browser that tells the system not to log your traffic. This is the method we use here internally as no matter what your IP address does you will always be excluded (unless you clear your cookies of course!). This does however have one disadvantage in that if you use more than one browser you will have to perform the process for each as they do not share cookie information.

Both of these options are available on the settings tab of your website..

1) Click on the Members link on the top of the page
2) Click on the settings link for the website you wish to edit
3) To exclude your IP address click on the Add button next to the Exclude IP's box, the following IP address will be automatically populated with your external IP.
4) To exclude your browser via a cookie simply click on the Add button next to the Exclude Cookie box. This will open a small window that will take a few seconds to load, please don't close it, once loaded it will automatically close and the main page will refresh.

You should now be excluded from the reports for any new visits you make to your website.

Please let me know if you require any more help!
